Three Months

Definitely the worst part about Conor turning 3 months old is that I am back at work. I actually went back last week and I already feel like I have missed so much! He is getting to know his grandmas really well though and I know we are very lucky that we don't have to send him to daycare until September. I just have to get used to our new routine.

I know it sounds cliche, but he really has changed so much since last month!
  • Conor consistently sleeps through the night! Am I jinxing it? I sure hope not. 8, 9, even 10 hours seems to be the going stretch at night and it is amazing! I still have to get up in the middle of the night to pump, but it isn't so bad.
  • Last week he was having a really hard time falling asleep. We could tell that he was tired but for some reason he was really fighting it. Luckily, he has been back on track these past few days and falls asleep with no trouble.
  • He laughs! He has had little giggles for a while now but a couple of weeks ago, he laughed. Really laughed! I called Keith into the room and we both teared up a bit. It was the most incredible sound.
  • He talks so much! I know it isn't actual talking yet...but I love our conversations.
  • He is starting to tolerate tummy time for longer periods. We play Curious George on the iPad to encourage him and he loves it.
  • He grasps at toys and is much more interested in them. Especial toys with colorful flashing lights and music.
  • He follows us with his eyes and smiles when we approach him.
  • He got his second little cold. Mostly just sniffles and he rebounded after a couple of days.
  • He LOVES the stroller. We don't even use the car seat attachment anymore...he just rides in the main part fully reclined (so thankful for some unseasonably warm weather in March this year).
  • I feed him every morning before I go to work. It's so nice having a little bit of time with him in the morning. He always goes right back to sleep after (which is nice for dad who is still sleeping).
  • I started an Instagram "snapbook" with pictures and little love note captions. I plan on turning them into a book for his first year. It is a much easier way for me to keep track of little moments and milestones.
  • We have about a week left of size 2 diapers and then we will switch to size 3. He is growing so fast!
XO, Bev
