Baby Bump

When I first found out that I was pregnant, I was so excited! I stared at my stomach in the mirror every day waiting to see that baby bump. It wasn't until the end of my first trimester that I really started to notice a change. When my roomiest boyfriend jeans didn't button anymore, I knew that I would need to find new clothing options to fit my rapidly changing body.

During pregnancy it can be a challenge to look and feel your best. While pregnancy is certainly an exciting time, it isn't exactly the most glamorous. It was important for me to find clothes that would be both flattering and comfortable...and would grow with me so I didn't need to replace my wardrobe every few weeks.

Some of the best advice that I have received so far is to show off the bump! Originally I had picked out some flowy tops and regular pants a few sizes larger than normal in an attempt to keep my growing belly hidden. Overall I just felt frumpy. Now I love showing my bump off with fitted tees and full panel pants (that stretch around my belly) and I feel so much more confident doing so. It is still a bit of a challenge finding cute maternity things though. There just aren't many options. For now, I am living in Gap tees.

Where do you shop for maternity clothes?
