Cookies & Cream

I love baking. Fortunately for me, my coworkers love sweets. I joke that I use them as my test kitchen (luckily they don't realize how serious I actually am).

1 cup butter softened (not melted)
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
3.4 ounces (1 package) instant vanilla pudding
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 cup chocolate chips (milk or semi-sweet)
1 cup white chocolate chips
16 Oreo cookies, broken into pieces (I used Double Stuf--one 'f' on purpose because, WTF?)

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Cream together butter, brown sugar, and sugar. Add eggs, vanilla, and dry pudding mix.

Stir together until light and fluffy.

Next, add flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt until it is mixed well. Gently fold in chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, and Oreo pieces.

Grease a cake pan and bake at 350°F for 20-22 minutes (I used a smaller baking dish so cooking time was 25-27 minutes). The center should be set, but still gooey. You definitely don't want to over bake because they will be dry.

Do you have any good recipes I can try on my coworkers?

XO, Bev
