Friday Five

Well folks, we survived another work week. After having my new car overheat on me on Thursday night, I can honestly say that Friday couldn't come soon enough. My previous car was the same car that I got for my 16th birthday. 11 years later and it still runs like a champ! Imagine my surprise when my 2 week old car broke down. Ugh. Good thing I haven't had the heart to sell my old car yet and have a backup to drive! The upside, right?

Anyway, here are seven things from my week that helped me get through relatively unscathed (yes, seven...this week needed seven).

Willow And Her Costumes

Is it Halloween yet? I can't wait to unveil mine and Keith's couple costume next week. This little girl is giving us some tough competition though. Seriously! Keith's favorite is Lieutenant Dan and Forrest Gump. I'm more partial to the Cabbage Patch Kid or the Gilligan's Island couple costume. Too cute.

The "Wet" Brush

Have you ever heard of a Wet Brush? Well, I decided to give one a try. I really wasn't expecting it to be any different from my other paddle brushes but this brush feels seriously strange. In a good way, I think? I seem to be getting more compliments on my hair as of late and considering I haven't changed anything else, I'm giving this brush the win.

Chatbooks

Chatbooks are the easiest way to transform your Instagram photos into actual photo albums. Download the app, connect your Instagram, and in a matter of minutes you can order a book with 30 photos for only $6! My first book ended up being 80 photos total ($6 for the first 30 photos + $1 for each additional block of 10 photos + $2.95 for shipping). This was my first book and I am already addicted. I will be ordering many...many more.

I Am Having So Much Fun Here Without You

My husband actually ordered this book for me using Amazon's Customers Who Bought This Item Also Bought feature based on a previous book I ordered. It was a great pick (and extremely sweet of Keith)! I'll be using that feature more often now.

I am guilty of judging a book by its cover on this one. When I walked by this book in Target, I threw it in my basket without having heard of it before. It just looked like it had to be good...and it was! It was an incredibly heartwarming story about young love and I had a hard time putting it down.

Welcome To New York

I am such a sucker for anything Taylor Swift. This song came out on iTunes like 4 days ago and I bet that I have listened to it at least 100 times by now. The video is only a preview...but you can download the full version here.

Lena Dunham

"Lena is weird but I'm okay with it." I just love her. I will be buying her book next.

Do you have any favorites from this week?

Share them in the comments below. I'd love to hear!
